At Best Bee Kids, our Early Intervention Room offers a safe, nurturing space for young autistic children. Designed around the principles of child-led play and neuro-affirming practice, this class supports early learning, social connection, and emotional regulation in a small-group setting. The program operates under the Department of Education’s Home Tuition Grant Scheme, providing a supported environment that complements each child’s individual needs and family goals.
We believe that every child deserves a space where they feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves.
In the Early Intervention Room, our approach is grounded in:
· Child-Led Learning: We follow each child’s interests and strengths, creating meaningful experiences through play, sensory exploration, and connection.
· Focus on Regulation & Social Connection: We create predictable routines, support emotional regulation, and encourage positive social interactions. We always prioritise Connection over Compliance.
· Small Group Environment: With a low child-to-adult ratio, we foster trust, build confidence, and ensure each child receives individual attention.
· Neuro-Affirming Practice: We celebrate each child’s unique way of experiencing the world, focusing on strengths and promoting autonomy.
· Partnership with Parents: We believe in working closely with families, sharing regular updates, and setting shared goals for each child’s development.
Our classroom is located in a dedicated room in the Parish Hall building. We have a spacious classrooms, an outdoor classroom and a large outdoor play area.
